Day 11: Reducing Caffeine and Alcohol for Better Mental Health

In our journey through December's "Advent of Anxiety" series, we've explored various methods to combat anxiety, from mindfulness to healthy eating. Today, I focus on a subtle but significant aspect of our daily lives - our consumption of caffeine and alcohol. The adage "Less caffeine, more calm" couldn't be more fitting.

I'm pretty fond of my morning coffee and won't deny the occasional enjoyment of a glass of wine. This article isn't about completely giving up your favourite coffee or skipping that occasional glass of wine. Instead, I want to discuss understanding their effects and exploring choices.

I relish a few coffees in the morning but make it a point to avoid caffeine post-lunch. It's all about finding a balance that works for you while being mindful of how these choices impact your well-being.
